The Carter Center
Under the leadership of former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, a long-standing champion for the rights of people with mental illnesses, the Carter Center’s Mental Health Program works to promote awareness about mental health issues, inform public policy, achieve equity for mental health care comparable to other health care, and reduce stigma and discrimination against those with mental illnesses.

Depression Bipolar Support Alliance
The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA), is a leading peer-directed national organization focusing on the two most prevalent mental health conditions, depression and bipolar disorder. DBSA’s peer-based, wellness oriented, and empowering services and resources are available when people need them, where they need them and how they need to receive them-online 24/7, in local support groups, in audio and video casts, or in printed materials distributed by DBSA across America.

The Grace Alliance
Mental Health Grace Alliance is 501(c)3 not for profit organization proving Christian mental health recovery and support through building peer and lay lead mental health recovery resources, support programs, and training accessible and affordable to anyone, anytime, and anywhere.

International Bipolar Foundation
International Bipolar Foundation (IBFF), formerly known as California Bipolar Foundation, was founded in June 2007 in San Diego, California by four parents with children affected by bipolar disorder. Well aware of the trauma that bipolar disorder causes for consumers and their families, these parents felt compelled to do something constructive to help.

The It’s Up to Us campaign is designed to empower San Diegans to talk openly about mental illness, recognize symptoms, utilize local resources and seek help. Mental health challenges are just as important to address as physical illness. But often people do not seek professional care and support, nor do they give support, because of the stigma that is associated with having a mental illness.

The MGH Clay Center for Young Healthy Minds
The Clay Center for Young Healthy Minds at Massachusetts General Hospital is a web-based resource that educates parents and other caregivers about the psychological development and emotional well-being of children, adolescents and young adults who struggle with behavioral, emotional and/or learning challenges.

National Alliance on Mental Illness
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI advocates for access to services, treatment supports and research and is steadfast in its commitment to raise awareness and build a community of hope for all of those in need. NAMI is the foundation for hundreds of NAMI State Organizations, NAMI Affiliates and volunteer leaders who work in local communities across the country to raise awareness and provide essential and free educate, advocacy and support group programs.

Vets4Warriors
Since 2010, thousands of Service members have found confidential assistance using the Vets4Warriors Peer Support Line. Who better to understand the challenges of military life than someone who has lived it? Veterans provide support to military members, engaging them in a personal, non-threatening way. Vets4Warriors peer support network is confidential and caller information will not be shared with the military or the VA. Sometimes the issues will require specific expertise, such as finical resources, legal advice or medical services. Our Veteran Peers will work to find the best options for the caller and help make the connection in their local communities.

World Mental Organization (WHO), is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system. It is responsible for providing leadership on global health matters, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards, articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends.
